PUBLIC LAW
Our teams in Truro and Exeter act for individuals who wish to challenge decisions made by public bodies by way of High Court proceedings known as judicial review.
We regularly act for adults and young people who wish to challenge decisions of:
- Local authority departments (eg: Social Services, Children and Families)
- Government agencies and departments
- NHS bodies
- Magistrates Courts and Tribunals
- Coroners
- Police
- Crown Prosecution Service
Public funding is available for these kinds of matters. We have a contract with the Legal Services Commission to provide public law legal services.
